Leighton is an official ambassador for Jeans for Genes the national children’s charity which aims to raise money for research into serious, and often life threatening, genetic disorders that affect thousands of children, and to provide funding for much needed care and support of these children and their families. Genetic disorders are individually very rare but together they are the cause of more than half of all childhood deaths in the UK.
